Scarce, official Toilet Paper branded tote from 2011, given away at a private event. The image is from the cover of Issue 4 of Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari's absurdist and surreal publication, Toilet Paper. Started in 2010, the photography-based magazine has gained a cult following in the worlds of art and design. "Toiletpaper has always had no purpose," Cattelan is quoted in W magazine. Scarce one-sided 7-inch vinyl record, SOUND SAMPLE, recorded by Willoughby Sharp on March 4, 1969 from 8:15 to 8:18 PM in New York City. The recording was apparently produced in conjunction with an exhibit entitled Audio Structures/Systems at the Henri Gallery in Washington D.C. from April 8-30, 1969. The sleeve contains the vinyl and three loose-leaf pages: one with information for the exhibit and the others with statements from artists George Miller and Theodosius Victoria, respectively.

The magazine was a single folded oversized artwork mailed in an envelope, and ran for about 12 issues from 1984-1985. Editions were produced by various artists. This issue an edition of 350 copies. Includes the original oversize cardboard mailing envelope and invoice. A rare, oversize original Kruger limited edition silkscreen almost 6 feet tall.

A set of three wonderful Japanese original ink drawings on delicate rice paper. Somewhat mysterious in intent, perhaps from a story or studies for a fairy tale. The red Kanji characters in the lower left appear to be page numbers. One of a fisherman with his catch and a traditional fish basket nearby. Another of a cat leading a giant carrot on a string (?!). The third, a figure banging a drum amid giant vegetation. The words on the figure's clothing appear to be colors (green, red, yellow), perhaps instructions.....

An original Pop Shop Tokyo button in yellow and black from the store that Haring opened in Tokyo in 1987. It was based on his New York Pop Shop opened in 1986 at 292 Lafayette in the Soho neighborhood of NYC, but the Tokyo store was only open for about a year. Slightly larger (1.25" vs. 1" in diameter) and thicker than the NYC Pop Shop buttons, and more scarce.

Condition: Very Good+, light oxidation to back of button; minor surface scuffs.
