A rare, original signed etching by Michael Bowen, the co-organizer of San Francisco's Human Be-In during 1967's Summer of Love. Bowen was also the co-founder of San Francisco's Oracle, the legendary counterculture publication known for its psychedelic artwork and multi-colored printing. Bowen painted and studied art throughout his life, along with practices and studies related to mysticism and spirituality. Bowen died in Stockholm in 2009. Signed and dated by Bowen in pencil in the lower right, with "A/P" (Artists's Proof) noted in lower left and with an embossed stamp/insignia in lower left. Item #1401.

Condition: Very Good-, with some toning to paper and spotting/foxing around borders; tiny pinholes in four corners, and at center top; a few nicks and scratches to paper surface in border; soft crease at top right coner and along right side.
