Considered a classic of architectural criticism and winner of the 1985 Architectural Critics Award. This is the fifth printing from 1989 for the book first published in 1985. A collection of 17 of Colquhoun's essays. Preface by Kenneth Frampton.

A complete run of 51 issues of Log: Observations on Architecture and the Contemporary City, spanning the years 2003-2021 and including issues number 1-51 (issues #52 and 53 were published in Fall and Summer 2021). With extras/inserts included, such as the postcards produced for various issues, 3-D glasses (issue 17), and a rear view mirror air freshener tree (issue 8), although it is unknown if all extras/inserts are included. A collection of 49 issues (in 35 publications) of the influential film journal Film Culture, known for exploring avant-garde cinema in depth. The magazine was founded and edited by Jonas Mekas (1922-2019), also the founder of the Anthology Film Archives and considered to be the godfather of American avant-garde cinema. Fluxus artist George Maciunas did the layout for select issues, such as Nos. 15 to 23 and No. 30 in this collection. A total of 79 issues of Film Culture were published between 1954 and 1996. The first four volumes of "Nexus: Architecture and Mathematics" a series of books exploring the relationship between the two topics derived from lectures and presentations at the Nexus conferences occurring in Florence, Mantua, and Ferrara, Italy and Óbidos, Portugal in 1996, 1998, 2000 and 2002. The Nexus Conferences continue with one scheduled in Torino for 2023. Topics and architects covered in the books are wide ranging, including geometry and Baroque architecture, Pompeii, the American Prairie house, musical proportions in relation to architectural ones, Rome's Pantheon, geometric ideas from African art.....
