Condition: Good-, multiple pinholes and staple holes (80 or more, likely from being on a bulletin board); edgewear and some creasing along top edge with about 4-5 closed tears up to .5" along the top edge; some toning to paper around edges.

An original concert flyer for Roy Loney (formerly of the Flamin' Groovies) and the Phantom Movers, plus Eye Protection with Black Flag Opening! At the Temple in San Francisco on February 1, 1980. Loney, a much-loved and longtime member of the Bay Area music scene, and a trail blazer in early garage rock during the psychedelic era, died in December of 2019.

The oversized record label poster for Sonic Youth's album "Goo," their sixth release. The album's cover artwork was famously done by Raymond Pettibon, and this poster features the band's name in his lettering. The album also featured the song "Kool Thing," a collaboration with Chuck D of Public Enemy.
Condition: Near Fine, a .5" crease/bump to lower left corner, otherwise very nice.

A 1983 flyer for the Violent Femmes at the Mediterranean Tavern on West Burnside in Portland, and the Violent Femmes first Portland appearance. George Touhouliotis ran the Mediterranean Tavern and started doing poetry and live shows there in the early 1980s. It was this Violent Femmes show that prompted Touhouliotis to open the legendary Satyricon, saying "They weren't really loud—it's the Violent Femmes. But there were a lot of complaints from the people upstairs. So this other space, Satyricon—it seemed right" (Willamette Week, 10/26/2010). The Femmes self-titled debut album was.....

One of the classic posters of the era, designed by Stanley Mouse of Mouse Studios. This is the 1970 authorized second printing of the 1966 original, showing Pooh and Piglet walking into the sunset, with Pooh carrying a kilo and Piglet smoking a joint. Also an early Grateful Dead show. In the final concert lineup taking place at the legendary Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, Bola Sete replaced Joan Baez and Mimi Farina canceled. A fine condition copy of this scarce printing.

An oversized tour poster for Tuxedomoon, the pioneering post-punk, new wave (no wave) band that formed in San Francisco in 1977. They signed with The Residents' label Ralph Records and released their first album in 1980. The band also appeared in and is on the soundtrack of the cult NYC film "Downtown 81" starring Jean-Michel Basquiat, which also included cameos by many New York icons such as Debbie Harry, John Lurie and Fab 5 Freddie. Tour dates noted on the poster include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver BC, Seattle, Chicago.....
