This book presents 94 of Imogen Cunningham's photographs taken between 1901 and 1970. Inscribed by Cunningham in 1973 (three years before her death at age 93) to photographer Patricia Harris Noyes, who was a pioneer in photomicrography. Born in Portland, OR, Cunningham mostly grew up in Seattle, later moving to the Bay Area where she taught at the California School of Fine Arts alongside Dorothea Lange and Minor White. She also worked alongside and maintained friendships with Ansel Adams, Paul Strand and Edward Weston.
