A fun collection of interior design paintings/drawings circa 1930s. Artist unknown, these examples were possibly created by an interior designer to propose interior remodeling ideas and scenarios to clients. On "Chimatco Illustration Board" that was manufactured by the Chicago Cardboard Company. Skillfully rendered, with some nice details such as the wallpaper patterns, wood wall relief, recessed bench molding, mirrors, windows, and furniture and drape details. Condition: Very Good; some scuffs, rubbing and dents to a few surfaces; light edge and corner wear; some edges slightly.....

A set of three medical drawings on index cards by Dr. Siegfried Berthelsdorf (1911-2011), done in 1935 when he was a student at the University of Oregon. He continued his studies in psychiatry in New York City, graduating from the New York Psychoanalytic Institute in 1952. In 1953, he moved to Portland where he began private practice as the first psychoanalyst in Oregon. He was also a founding member of the Oregon Psychoanalytic Foundation. Framed in a black metal frame with UV glass. Additional shipping rates apply.

Bowen was also the co-founder of San Francisco's Oracle, the legendary counterculture publication known for its psychedelic artwork and multi-colored printing. Bowen painted and studied art throughout his life, along with practices and studies related to mysticism and spirituality. Bowen died in Stockholm in 2009. An original "Free South Africa" subway drawing by Keith Haring. In the early to mid-1980s Haring drew with chalk on the black paper in the subway system that the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority used to paste over expired advertisements and billboards. The blank, black panels would remain for a few days to several weeks before a new advertisement was pasted on top. Haring saw them as a blank canvas and began drawing on them, saying "it became a rewarding experience to draw and see the drawings being appreciated.....
