Frank Sanje Elliott was born in 1933 in Centralia, Washington and studied at Lewis & Clark College and the Museum Art School in Portland, Oregon in the mid-1950s. Since that time, his paintings, calligraphy, and Thangka works have been shown internationally. This circa 1967 oil painting on canvas by Elliott, in the original artist frame, is entitled "Spring Turns the Wheel". Elliott continues to make work in Portland and is a very accomplished Tibetan Thangka painter. Additional shipping rates apply.

An original, small acrylic and felt pen on canvas painting by the noted mid-century painter Milton Wilson (1923-2004). Born in Portland, he was an exuberant and inspiring character on the scene, known for his fabulous dinner parties. He moved to San Francisco in the mid-1960s, living there for a decade and painting his acclaimed "Castro" series while in the Bay Area, returning to Portland in the 1970s. His work is in the collections of the Portland Art Museum, the University of Oregon Art Museum, Yale University and the Oakland Art.....
