The Thing Quarterly: John Baldessari Pillowcases; Issue 22
A set of 2 standard-size pillowcases designed by John Baldessari (1931-2020) for The Thing Quarterly (Issue 22). The pillowcases feature a silkscreened repeating image of a person sleeping on a pillowcase. The Thing Quarterly ran for 34 issues from 2007 to 2017 and produced artist multiples that were available on a subscription basis, and sometimes individually. Artists featured in the editions included Miranda July, Tauba Auerbach, Gabriel Orozco, Experimental Jet Set, Ricky Swallow, David Shrigley, Chris Johanson, Shannon Ebner, Rodarte and others.
