An original signed etching by Charles Heaney, an Oregon-based printmaker and painter who created artwork in the Pacific Northwest for over 60 years. Although he began his career as a painter, Heaney later shifted his focus toward printmaking, utilizing woodcut techniques and intaglio processes such as etching to produce detailed depictions of Pacific Northwest landscapes. As part of the Federal Art Project under the Works Progress Administration, Heaney’s beautiful portrayals of southern Oregon landscapes are featured at Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood.
