The AEG was Germany's national electric company and one of the first companies to create a uniform corporate design or brand identity. Its architect was Peter Behrens, a painter and graphic designer who influenced the architecture, typography and product design for the national entity. Images in black and white, with a handful of color illustrations. Originally published in Berlin in 1979, this is the MIT Press 1984 English translation.
