Swedish painter Hilma af Klint (1862–1944) painted her abstract, spiritual works largely in private, and they were not widely seen until 1987. She is now considered a pioneer of abstract art. This book focuses on her most important body of work, "The Paintings for the Temple," which attempted to create a harmony between the spiritual and material worlds. Out of print. Item #997.
