An Associated Press wire service teleprinter printout of Marcel Duchamp's obituary, issued by The Washington Post and written by Phil Casey, from the day of his death on October 2, 1968. Received on a teleprinter machine at "The Oregonian" newspaper in Portland, OR. With the name "Beth F." at the top, an editor at the paper (another editor's name is crossed out). An extremely rare piece of Duchamp ephemera, and a Duchampian object in itself. Framed in a black metal frame with UV plexiglass. Additional shipping and insurance rates apply. Item #983.

Condition: Good, tears and chips along edges of paper; overall creases and toning to paper; more pronounced fold/creases at midpoint; names in pen near top.
