A handsome two-color typography specimen poster of the Bulmer roman and italic typefonts, produced by the Eastern Corporation paper company to highlight their paper product and its printing attributes. The Bulmer font was originally designed and cut in England, about 1786, by William Martin for the printer W. Bulmer at the Shakespeare Press. The font is displayed in sizes ranging from 6 to 48 point. The poster is printed on Eastern's Atlantic Antique Laid 24lb. paper, which is "uniform in every respect, its tub-sized surfaces take print equally well on either side". Item #952.
