An unattributed poster of calligraphy, illustrating different techniques, styles, themes, philosophies and approaches to calligraphic lettering design. The calligraphy itself demonstrates the various techniques and strategies described therein, such as "the longer the lines of writing the more space is needed between them"; "linear separate compressed sequential" and "built-up letters flooded in". Printed in red and black ink on thick ivory paper. From a calligrapher and educator's collection, most of which was from the 1960s. Item #951.

Condition: Very Good-, light creasing at top and lower right corners; very light foxing along bottom of poster.
