The concrete poem "Interchange" by San Francisco poet Jack Hirschman, in tribute to John Cage. Printed loose leaf on heavy card stock in black and white, and presented in a clamshell box. Design and typography by John Brandi and Harold Schwarm. Published in an edition of 300 by The Zora Gallery, Los Angeles, in 1964.

Hirschman moved to San Francisco in 1973 and has had a long association with the city and its poetry ever since. He was named Poet Laureate of the city in 2006, and in 2007 established the San Francisco International Poetry Festival in partnership with the San Francisco Public Library. Item #930.

Condition: Very Good, light scuffs, minor dents and toning to clamshell box; interior cards in fine condition.
