A collection of sepia-toned photographs of architecture, parks, promenades and plazas throughout Paris circa 1920 and with a Cecil B. De Mille Productions label on the cover. "93" is written in space provided on the label, perhaps a production number, and "#286" is also written in pencil on the cover. Inside, on the front free endpaper, there is a handsome Cecil B. DeMille bookplate as well as a stamp stating "Research Dept. DeMille Studio". This book was likely used as a resource for scouting locations for DeMille, or for set production ideas. A unique item associated with the "founding father" of the Hollywood film industry. Text in French and English. Item #703.
