Art & Project Bulletin 27

Art & Project Bulletin 27

Art & Project was an Amsterdam art gallery from 1968-2001 with a focus on the international conceptual art scene. Its founders, Geert van Beijeren & Adriaan van Ravesteijn, also issued a bulletin of the same name to serve as a vehicle for conveying ideas and as a networking tool for conceptual artists. A total of 156 bulletins were produced through 1989. Bulletin 27 is a short text by American conceptual artist Mel Bochner titled Excerpts from Speculation (1967-1970): 3 Conditions. The inside pages are facsimiles of the second and third drafts of the essay. The final page is a reprint of the piece as published in Artforum in May 1970. Item #645.
