Arman: Dwan Gallery
A folded exhibition announcement/catalog plus invitation for Arman at the Dwan Gallery, Los Angeles in 1962. The announcement features an image of Arman's Alarm Clocks (Reveils), an assemblage of alarm clocks placed in a painted wooden box. The interior of the flyer lists the works included in the exhibition as well as a statement (in French) from Pierre Restany. Also included is a uniquely printed, black on clear mylar invitation to the preview opening on May 6, 1962. Arman is known for his sculptural accumulations and deconstructions/recompositions of mass-produced objects. Item #633.
