Dick Higgins founded Something Else Press, an early publisher of works by Fluxus artists throughout the 1960s, in 1963. It published many important interdisciplinary texts and artworks by Higgins, Ray Johnson, Gertrude Stein, George Brecht, Daniel Spoerri, Bern Porter, John Cage, Emmett Williams and others.
