Louise Nevelson: Sky Columns Presence
This important solo exhibition of Nevelson's works at the Martha Jackson Gallery (Oct-Nov 1959) included some of her first large-scale assemblages. The works that nearly encased the gallery were illuminated in light designed by Schuyler Watts. This exhibition has been the subject of numerous critical writings on the artist's career and oeuvre.
