A circa 1967 fold-out brochure soliciting charter members for the renovation and new buildings of the Pasadena Art Museum (now the Norton Simon Museum of Art at Pasadena), which opened in November of 1969. The Pasadena Art Museum has played an important role in the history of post-war art, and California art in particular. Walter Hopps, who formed L.A.'s famous Ferus Gallery with Edward Kienholz, was the Director from 1964-1967 and organized the first American retrospective of Marcel Duchamp there in 1963. Includes three items: a fold-out brochure showing architectural models and renderings, plus a membership application brochure, and a business reply envelope - all in fine condition. Item #477.
