Bookend made by the Portland-based collaborative project, Eco-Baroque, comprised of artists Bruce Conkle and Marne Lucas. We at Monograph Bookwerks think of this object as related to Morandi's bottles. Made from glazed stoneware, each bookend is unique. Solid clay, not hollow; the small opening at the top does not extend down into the form. Due to size and weight, additional shipping rates apply: $18 for Domestic Priority Mail. Item #455.
Condition: Fine, as new; small hole at the top for firing purposes that furthers the appearance of this as a vessel; cracks as common in solid fired clay, which enhance the handmade nature of the piece.
