The 25th edition of American Wood and Paper Company Champion's promotional publication, Imagination, that was used to show off its products and highlight printing possibilities. This boxed set contains four envelopes, each enclosing either a booklet or loose-leaf papers. It retains its original belly band, along with additional loose-leaf acknowledgments and introductory pages. A variety of printing techniques create an array of visual and tactile effects, showcasing the imaginative uses and the versatility of Champion papers. Each booklet is dedicated to a specific printing technique: Book One explores four-color process printing; Book Two focuses on two-color printing; Book Three examines duotones; and Book Four highlights die-cutting. Condition: Very Good booklets in a Good slipcase, acknowledgment page and introduction page with light edgewear and soft creasing along edges; envelopes with light edgewear and slight creasing to corners; slipcase with bowed edges; small corner bump to upper left corner of slipcase; .5" tear to cardboard around thumb cut.
