With a wide scope, it traces the gallery’s significant artists and its role in the contemporary art world through unpublished archival materials, installation photographs from over 200 exhibitions, personal mementos, correspondence and an in-depth chronology. Includes chapters on notable artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Isa Genzken, Paul McCarthy and many others. Out of print.

Condition: Very Good book in a Very Good slipcase, book with a small bump to top of spine; two .5" ink stains, one at top of spine and one at bottom left corner of back cover; small corner bumps to top right corner of front cover and top and bottom left corners of back cover; slipcase with light soiling to front and back panels; small corner bumps to bottom left corner of front panel and top right corner of back panel.
