A rare fashion catalogue born from a collaboration between the highly influential experimental UK fashion house Murray and Vern and Michael C. Place of The Designers Republic (tDR). It combines tDR’s avant-garde aesthetic, an influential force in the visual language of late 20th-century dance music, techno, and gaming culture, with striking photographs of models wearing a variety of latex designs, including corsets, neck collars, and more.
Murray and Vern are known for their early adoption and use of latex, establishing them as forerunners in bringing fetish aesthetics into the mainstream fashion world. Drawing on elements of the dance club scene, the gay community, fetish culture, and performance art, their iconic designs are held in the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
