Limonious’s career, progressing from pamphlet illustration to gag cartooning, is reflected in his distinctive sleeve designs and chronicled in this survey. With a joyful cartoon-strip style, complete with speech balloons rendered in local patois, the vibrant world he created became the perfect visual counterpart to the island’s emerging dancehall scene.
