Beastie Boys: Kitsap County Fairgrounds XL Poster (1995)
An oversized and über rare concert poster for the Beastie Boys’ performance at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds near Seattle, Washington in 1995. Supporting acts Bad Brains, Roots, and Hurricane also appeared. Produced by concert promoter Monqui Presents, this oversize version of the show poster was intended for display in local and regional record stores, at their Portland venue La Luna, or other venues where they produced shows, such as the Salem Armory. The poster would have been printed using thermal blueprint technology available at the time. Only a very small number of these XL posters would have been printed—likely between 15 to 20 copies.
The concert was held in collaboration with the organization Artists Against Hate, with a portion of the event’s revenue supporting anti-hate initiatives. This included funding efforts like “No on 9,” a campaign opposing Oregon Ballot Measure 9, one of the most aggressively anti-LGBTQ+ measures ever presented to U.S. voters.

Condition: Very Good, professionally restored and linen backed on canvas; old tape stains still visible at each corner and at center of left and right edges; restoration was done to repair tears, edgewear, tape removal, etc; now presenting very nicely.
