Kontexts: An Occasional Review of Visual Poetries and Language Arts, Issue No. 8
Published by British poet and visual artist Michael Gibbs, Kontexts began in 1969 as a magazine dedicated to visual and concrete poetry. A total of ten issues were published before the magazine concluded in 1977, and all issues are now out of print.
Issue No. 8 centers on the relationship between concrete poetry, art, and language and features contributions from William Burroughs, Brion Gysin, Jackson Mac Low, Robert Filliou, Henri Chopin, Arrigo Lora-Totino, G. J. de Rook, Greta Monach, Mirtha Dermisache, Richard Hartwell, and others.

Condition: Very Good, with a water stain along the spine fold of the front and back covers; Center page had three closed tears along bottom edge all smaller that .25”; light edgewear along the top and bottom edges; small corner bumps to two corners; natural creasing.
