The W.C. #1: Trade
Accompanying an exhibition of the same name, Trade is the first publication of White Columns, New York's oldest alternative art space, occasional in-house journal, The W.C.. The 2005 exhibition centered around the act of artists swapping artworks. As such, this first issue contains anecdotal accounts from the participating artists, sharing their experiences swapping their works.
This issue includes writing from artist Rita Ackermann, AA Bronson, Deborah Kass, Richard Kern and more. Item #1774.
Condition: Good, light edgewear and small corner bumps; rust on the staples and a small section of light water damage on the back cover. Three creases run the height of the back cover, with the crease closest to the spine affecting all pages and the front cover.
