The famous Warhol-Malanga issue of Intransit with 114 poems and writings by a stellar list of contributors including Joe Brainard, Allen Ginsberg, Charles Bukowski, Lou Reed, Michael McClure, Diane di Prima, Frank O'Hara, Charles Plymell, Ted Berrigan, d.a. levy, and many others. Interspersed with halftone photo images printed in pink, purple, black, and blue/teal/greenish inks. Scarce. Item #1743.
Condition: Very Good-, toning to newsprint pages, more prominent along the top edge; crease and chip to front cover at top right; edgewear to covers and reader's crease to spine; a light moisture stain to covers (more visible on back cover) at bottom near spine faintly visible on last 40 pages; .5" and 1.5" closed tears to front cover near spine at top and bottom; see detail photos; regardless, an overall nice copy of this very fragile edition - now in a protective mylar jacket.
