A set of four catalogs from the Julius Hoffmann Publishers of Stuttgart on 1930s modernist furniture design. Intended as guides for craftsman, architects and designers in the art of furniture design and craftsmanship. Illustrated with photographs in black and white and extensive diagrams and schematics of furniture construction (with Volume 1 being all diagrams and no photographs). A wonderful resource for a furniture designer or enthusiast.

Condition: Fair to Very Good-, sunning to jackets with tears and loss to jackets on back covers of two volumes (see photos), and one inside flap; light foxing, moisture stains and some soiling to some jackets; corroding to spine of Volume 2, although still holding strong; corner bumps to Volume 2; jackets now in Brodart jacket covers.
