Alfredo Jarr: Two or Three Things I Imagine About Them
An exhibition catalog for Jarr's 1992 exhibit at London's Whitechapel Art Gallery taking the form of a passport booklet and three "maps" (Brazil, Hong Kong, and Nigeria). The passport booklet includes a short introduction plus an essay by Patricia C. Phillips, an exhibition checklist, a biography and a selected bibliography. The maps fold-out (36 "x 24") to reveal large photographs of Nigerian children among a toxic waste site, pit miners in Brazil, and migrants at a detention center in Hong Kong.
