A poster commemorating 100 years of struggle for Puerto Rican independence. The Puerto Rican flag is shown framed in bullets. On September 23, 1868 the Lares uprising was the first major revolt against Spanish rule in Puerto Rico. Text in English, Spanish, French and Arabic. Published by OSPAAAL, the Organization of Solidarity of the People of Asia, Africa and Latin America, with their logo in the lower right. OSPAAAL was established in Cuba in 1966. Item #1535.
Condition: Fair, with overall waviness to poster likely from previous moisture; some edgewear and chips with five .25" half-circle areas of loss at right and bottom edges (see detail photos); light stains along bottom edge; paper is thin and somewhat brittle.
