The original America press kit for Francois Truffaut's directorial debut and masterpiece "The 400 Blows." Issued by the Ben Adler Advertising Service in 1959, the year of the film's release. Featuring dot-screen artwork for reproducing, press quotes for the film, advertising mats (ad mats) of various sizes on glossy stock that were for theaters to use when placing ads in newspapers to promote their screenings of the film. With a form to order other materials such as lobby posters, 8 x 10" film stills, and window/lobby cards.
