Vladimir Tatlin: Model of the Monument to the Third International; Shafrazi Gallery Exhibition Poster (2011)
The poster for the 2011 exhibition of Tatlin's iconic "Monument for the Third International" at the Shafrazi Gallery in New York. This 1967 model of the work, originally conceived in 1915-1920, was its first showing in the United States. The model is is over 9 feet wide x 16 feet high and materials include enamel on wood, metal and plexiglass with an electric motor. The Shafrazi Gallery closed in 2014. Item #1415.
