Artists' Stamps and Stamp Images; An International Invitational Exhibition
The scarce photocopied exhibition catalog for the October 29 to November 15, 1974 exhibit of artists' stamps and stamp images at the Simon Fraser Gallery in Vancouver, British Columbia. The exhibit contained approx. 2,750 stamps and images by 29 artists covering the years 1963-1973 with a few examples from 1974. Artists in the exhibit included Dieter Roth, Ken Friedman, N.E.Thing Co., Coach House Press, and various international Fluxus artists from Canada, the U.S., France, Germany, U.K., Hungary and The Netherlands. With an original Ken Friedman Fluxus West stamp affixed to the cover, and cancelled with a "Fluxpost West" rubber stamp inking. Item #1309.
