The third issue of the Weather Underground Organization's publication Osawatomie, named after the city in Kansas where, in 1856, John Brown and a small group of other abolitionists fought back against an army of slavery supporters. A first printing, not the later reprints which were published by the John Brown Club of Seattle and others.

With articles on the repression of prisons, the cement workers union, defending the Portuguese revolution, a WUO bombing attack on the Kennecott Corporation, the US war in Korea, feeand more. Published without any bylines or location so as to protect the authors and publishers from the authorities. Item #1196.

Condition: Very Good+, light toning to front cover with more sunning/tanning to back cover.
