The first issue of the Weather Underground Organization's publication Osawatomie, named after the city in Kansas where, in 1856, John Brown and a small group of other abolitionists fought back against an army of slavery supporters. A first printing, not the later reprints which were published by the John Brown Club of Seattle and others.

With articles on the Boston attack of Yvon Jean-Louis, and an investigation into ROAR, a look at the roots of economic crisis, the US failure in Cambodia, and more. Published without any bylines or location so as to protect the authors and publishers from the authorities. Item #1195.
