A 1920 pochoir-printed plate from the Paris fashion magazine, Gazette du Bon Ton. The magazine was published from 1912-1925 and featured exquisitely printed illustrations of the latest fashions using the pochoir printing process, in which stencils were created for the various colors and the plates hand-painted. This beach dress illustration is by art deco painter, illustrator and engraver Pierre Brissaud. Item #1010.
