The oversize catalog for the first original museum tour of Judy Chicago's feminist masterpiece, The Dinner Party. The work depicts 39 place settings at its table with 999 women honorees registered on the floor tiles ("the Heritage Floor"). This exhibition brochure details each plate/place setting with an image and description, along with dates, names and information about the 999 honorees grouped around each plate setting based on "common experiences, achievements, historic periods, or places of origin." It took a team of 20 researchers over two years to complete the information.....
