Ellsworth Kelly: Colored Paper Images Exhibition Card (1977)
The oversize card announcing Ellsworth Kelly's exhibit "Colored Paper Images" at Margo Leavin Gallery, Los Angeles from March 5-20, 1977. Kelly's colored paper images were a print series created at Tyler Graphics in 1976. The project spanned eight months and resulted in 23 editioned prints made from colored paper pulp, shaped using metal molds. Although the card image is very sharp, the works were known for their irregular textures and were a deviation for Kelly from his usual crisp geometry. The show also appeared at Leo Castelli Gallery, New York.....
