Fountain Gallery of Art: Invitation to First Opening
Two-piece set of invitations to the grand opening of Arlene Schnitzer's Fountain Gallery of Art in the Skidmore Fountain section of Portland. The first piece is an invitation to a champagne party on November 28, 1961, the eve of the Gallery's opening. The second is an invitation to the preview the following day. The Gallery officially opened on December 4 with a show including Kenneth Callahan, Carl and Hilda Morris, Michele Russo, Sally Haley, Robert Colescott and others. Item #732.
